Be caurfel when looking for road shoes for the PD-M520s. You have to look for shoes that are SPD compatible. Don’t get this confused whit SPDSL which are the road pedals. If you get shoes that work only with SPDSL you won’t be able to use them with your pedals. I recommend the Specialized Sport Road Shoe. They’re great shoes, Specialized’s body geometry products are very comfortable. The best thing about these shoes is they work with both mountain bike pedals like your M520 and with road pedals from Shimano, Time, and Look.
