The Small under protection of the great – Once known as St John’s Island, PEI is known as the birthplace of Canada where leaders met in 1864. It is Canada’s smallest province in terms of size and population and offers breathtaking views, beaches, and culture festivals. Almost half of the land is used for farming, while the second largest industry is tourism.

My Experience
My visit to Prince Edward Island was short and brief, the shortest actually of any province or territory for the entire trip! Due to the weather concerns of upcoming provinces I only made it across the Confederation Bridge the a 12km monstrosity crossing from the province of New Brunswick and headed directly east to check out the Legislative Buildings. During my time I marveled at how green the grasses were, the red dirt, and the blood red ocean. The people were especially friendly and the riding conditions were second to none with beautiful scenery dotting the landscapes.
