I came across this site while doing some browsing on the internet recently. This will allow you to generate and print maps for cycling through the entire country of Switzerland! You can even print it out in different scales (lowest is 1:25000) and even add Points of Interest on the map. What a wonderful service, I hope to see more countries follow suit! Well, we made it. In one piece. Really. Before we left to the Soundwave Music Festival we arranged a friend to drive our car up there after us to meet up with us, bring more supplies (beer and costumes) and if we needed it, get us back home. We needed it. Our last leg of the trip consisted of dealing with a bit more of the pouring rain in Port Alberni, before we boarded the M.V. Frances Barkley. Have been filling out the equipment section of this site a bit, eventually once each of the pieces are used I will write a detailed review on it. I decided I will take my SLR camera with me, even though it is bigger, it is a wonderful camera, and I have barely used it. I nearly lost it in the past couple of weeks, and am glad to have it back. This is the first post to the site, and I’m sure it is going to grow over the years, but I have to start somewhere.
